Dear friend; We are pleased to present the third annual Salt Spring Jazzfest! We have events planned from June 19 to 21 featuring local and off-island artists. Part of our mission is to nourish and strengthened our local musical community by giving a platform to local as well as visiting artists. The festival will also provide opportunities for youth to volunteer as well as participate in workshops and jam sessions. Joining The Salt Spring Jazz and Blues Society is one way to build support for the Salt Spring Jazzfest. The membership fee is only $10 per year and as a member you will be eligible for discounts on concerts and workshops. You can become a member at any of our events. Our present membership includes nearly 100 people and on the executive we are pleased to have Hannah Brown (president), John Moore (secretary), Valerie Short (treasurer), Brian Finnemore (director), Monik Nordine (artistic director), andGary Brooks (director).
